Zack Snyder‘s Justice League is going to be hitting screens later this year, which means eventually he’s going to have to win audiences over or else the newly-birthed DC extended cinematic universe isn’t going to go very far.
Snyder has had difficulties convincing people that things have changed since the days of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and I mostly don’t blame people for doubting him.
I personally enjoyed the film (especially the Ultimate Cut), but I can see why it wasn’t everybody’s cup of tea.
Then Suicide Squad kind of lowered the bar, which is leaving Wonder Woman and Justice League in a very advantageous place.
Hopefully, Wonder Woman gives us a glimpse of something different, something hopeful and fresh, while Justice League course-corrects the “mistakes” of Batman v Superman.
This fresh new image has landed, which features more of that dark and grim approach from Batman v Superman.
But Snyder has promised us change, so let’s just wait and see.
