Matthew Vaughn‘s X-Men: First Class still remains one of the brightest stars of last summer, especially when comparing it to the X-Men franchises shaky track record. Michael Fassbender and the entire cast delivered spectacular performances, which were only elevated by Vaughn’s balanced direction. He was able to make an emotional drama and a comic book movie summer blockbuster, which isn’t something most can go around bragging about.
Sequel news began making its rounds almost instantly, with the latest word coming from Film Business Today.
The sequel will be titled X-Men: Days of Future Past, which means it’ll possibly deal with time travel! Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence are all scheduled to return and filming will begin in January of next year.
