Christopher Nolan might be the single person in Hollywood trying to keep not only film alive, but also the theatrical experience.
Whether you agree with him or not, he is holding on to that July release for his latest time “travel” film Tenet, which stars John David Washington and Robert Pattinson and is looking a lot like Inception in scope and ambition.
This latest trailer is awesomely confusing, hinting more at the plot for the film, while not exactly spelling out what exactly is going on, aside from some understanding of time manipulation.
Nolan has gone on record to say that his latest isn’t a time travel film, but I feel that he’s just being picky in his wording and obviously hinting at him changing the game yet again.
Tenet is currently on track for its July release, but I guess we will see what COVID brings in terms of it actually being released. We know Nolan wants a 70mm IMAX presentation if at all possible, so I doubt we will be seeing any streaming versions of this film.
Are you excited to check out the film? Will you trek out to theaters to see it if it truly does release this summer?
