Franchises come and go. As do characters. There are some things that just aren’t meant to last forever and then there’s Vin Diesel and his precious Fast & Furious franchise, which has been continuing to rake in millions upon millions of dollars with each new entry.
The latest installment Furious 7 has without a doubt been the biggest money-maker, despite the quality of the series reaching its heights with Fast Five.
Most thought that after Paul Walker‘s unfortunate death the series would pump its brakes and perhaps shift in another direction, but then they went and confirmed Fast & Furious 8.
Now, Diesel has confirmed via Instagram that there’s going to be a 9 and 10.
That’s absolutely nuts.
2 decades of car-racing insanity.
I for one am not as excited for the future of this series as most, but I am curious to see how they change gears and adapt now that they’ve basically blown up several small towns and dozens upon dozens of cars.
Can anyone stop this juggernaut?
