V/H/S Red Band Trailer Arrives

After its big premiere at Sundance, where the film sold in a hallway bidding war after the screening, V/H/S has been hotly anticipated by horror fans all around.  Reviews say it takes an interesting point of view on found footage and how it works, while incorporating a lot of gore to go with it.
The film has six segments, directed by Adam Wingard (the upcoming You’re Next, A Horrible Way to Die), Joe Swanberg (Auto-Erotic), Ti West (The Innkeepers, House of the Devil), Radio Silence (famous for their YouTube videos) Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead), and David Bruckner (The Signal).  Reviews say that some segments stick out as much better and the others, and one or two are even borderline silly, but at the same time, it’s an interesting concept for those that enjoy found footage movies, and being one of those people, I’ll be reviewing it as soon as it hits VOD August 31st, before it gets a limited theatrical release in October.
