The latest film from About a Boy director Paul Weitz is Admission starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, which is based on the novel by Jean Hanff Koreutz. The upcoming release from Focus Features is a light-looking comedy about a college admissions counselor (played by Tina Fey) who has her world opened up through an unlikely friendship with Paul Rudd, playing a modern hippie-type teacher who opens her heart in a way she never thought possible. The film revolves around Fey connecting with a possibly long-lost son, and I’m sure it has a lot of feelings, but given the cast, it looks like it could also contain a few laughs.
The film opens March 8th, 2013, and although it doesn’t have a rating yet, it also stars Michael Sheen, the always hilarious Wallace Shawn, and Lily Tomlin. Check out the trailer for yourself:
