After tremendously hosting the Golden Globes earlier this year, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that Saturday Night Live alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be returning to host the Golden Globe Awards for the next two years. That’s right, we’ll be seeing Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-host the awards show in 2014 and 2015.
Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Theo Kingma said, “We are thrilled Amy and Tina have decided to return as hosts of the Golden Globe Awards for the next two years.”
Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC, expressed how a lot of people certainly feel about the immensely talented comedic duo.
“Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season, “ Telegdy said in the official press release. “We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years.” This is great news, indeed.
