Theatrical Poster For Spike Lee’s ‘Oldboy’ Remake

Oldboy-Remake-Theatrical-Poster

Spike Lee‘s Oldboy has been something I’ve been keeping my eye on ever since I heard it was coming.

Josh Brolin stars in Lee’s adaptation of a film that was made popular by director Chan-wook Park. I absolutely love the original film, but I’m still anticipating Lee’s version, because he clearly has his own unique vision for this one and I highly doubt that it’s going to be another pointless studio remake.

This first theatrical poster is an interesting one. It looks somewhat odd and out-of-nowhere at first, but the more I look at it the more I am reminded of Park’s original in terms of style and presentation.

Brolin is looking like a completely different man. Is this the work of Photoshop or has he really buffed up for the film? Only time will tell.

The film opens on October 25th, 2013.
