It looks like Channing Tatum is really trying to step up his game. First, starring in the box office disappointment The Eagle and now in director Don Montiel‘s The Son of No One. The trailer does look interesting, but that’s almost immediately canceled out by the massive swarm of negative reviews that came from Sundance. I’m all for Tatum stepping outside the box and attempting his hand at dramatic performances, but I think this is going to last long considering he makes more money doing his usual pretty boy shit.
It’s a shame because it has an impressive cast list that features Al Pacino, Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta, Katie Holmes, Tracy Morgan and Juliette Binoche.
The Son of No One opens up on November 4th.
Check out the trailer below, thanks to The Film Stage.
