RZA‘s The Man with the Iron Fists is going to kick all sorts of kung fu ass. I know this because I’ve recently watched the second red band trailer, which is bloodier and crazier than the previous one. It’s a balls to the wall approach to a passion project written by RZA and his buddy Eli Roth and presented by Quentin Tarantino himself.
The film promises new music from The Wu-Tang Clan, Kanye West and The Black Keys, which means that fans will now have even more reasons to start lining up for this film. If Dave Bautista‘s golden body doesn’t fancy you then maybe RZA‘s iron fists will or perhaps Russell Crowe‘s ability to be a complete badass in every single thing that he’s in.
I’m still not completely on board with the computer animated blood, but the more I see footage the more I’m slowly accepting such a sin. RZA is at least using it for stylistic choices and not budgetary cuts, so he gets a pass in my book.
The Man with the Iron Fists opens on November 2nd, 2012.
