Super Bowl Spot For Disney+ Shows Off Marvel’s Expanding Universe

My favorite Super Bowl TV spot for films/shows was hands down the Disney+ advertisement that briefly showed off some footage from Marvel’s three upcoming shows: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki.

I have been eagerly awaiting all three of these shows, because they promise us a look at the future of Marvel and their expansion to television and how they plan to merge TV shows and movies together in a way for a grander piece of storytelling.

Marvel had a brief stint with Netflix, producing shows like Daredevil and The Punisher, which were great in their own right, but not exactly connected to the greater MCU.

These new Disney+ shows are directly connected to the events happening within the MCU, which means that you will need to watch these to fully understand what is happening in the films.

They also give us a continuation of important characters that might not be popping up in their own (or other) movies anytime in the near future.

It sounds like these shows will be dropping in August, October and December, so we still have some time to wait on them.

But I hope the wait will be worth it.
