Spanish Trailer For Intruders

Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Why can’t I speak/understand Spanish!? A new trailer for director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo‘s Intruders, which is a creepy looking horror film that explores the origins of monsters that are born in childhood and passed on by family, has popped up online. Earlier this summer a teaser trailer snuck its way onto the internet, but after that we were given nothing. No new images or posters, just a teaser and a brief synopsis.

Now, a full trailer finally shows up, but it’s in Spanish, with no subtitles! If your fluent in the Spanish language then enjoy it, but if you’re like me and can only speak English (shut up) then don’t worry because the trailer is crafted so well that it still manages to scare the shit out of you, without any understanding of what is being said. I started the trailer bored and ended it with anticipation.

If Intruders turns out to be anything like the trailer or anything like Fresnadillo is claiming it to be, then we will be in for a treat come October. Fresnadillo said,

“the film reflects [his] love of the darkest visual universe, of the demons buried in our unconscious,” and it will “focus more on the chain of fear that grows in these seemingly normal and happy families as their kids are visited by unknown entities, rather than just focus on the evil spirits.”

Sounds good to me! Can’t wait!

Intruders stars Clive Owen, Daniel Bruhl and Carice van Houten. It will be released on October 7th, 2011.
