‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ Gets a Release Date

We’ve been attempting to keep you caught up on the developments of the next Sin City film called A Dame to Kill For, based on the comic of the same name by Frank Miller.  While Robert Rodriguez talked about the film a lot during the past 7 years, ever since he said it’s an official go, things have been happening pretty quickly.

First, it was announced that Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke would return to their roles from the first Sin City film, and then they released the above teaser poster.  Now, Dimension Films has put the film on the release slate for next October 4th, 2013.  Considering the amount of digital effects involved in making a Sin City movie happen, that’s certainly a quick date less than 18 months away.  It’s said that Rodriguez and Frank Miller are hard at work prepping the movie for a summer shoot at Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas.
