Well that didn’t take long. How does one feel when one gets a brand new flagship device such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 or the S6 Edge? I for one would be ecstatic if I was a fan of Samsung. Now how do you think one would feel if they’ve been waiting for this device for some time only to find out that it has issues with RAM management despite being advertised as the cutting edge DDR4 RAM? I’m sure they aren’t thrilled, to say the least.
Despite the new devices receiving praise some users have reported having major memory issues with them. These memory issues cause their devices to run slow and have apps crash unexpectedly. The RAM bug essentially causes the massive ram storage to fill up quickly and not be cleared. There is usually 200-400 MB of RAM left at any given time. That equates to 2.5GB of RAM being used at one time.
Users who have been reportedly experiencing this issue informed Samsung and they have replied on their Samsung UK Facebook page. Hopefully by this reply it means that Samsung will be addressing the problem that is affecting many users. Samsung doesn’t need any more bad publicity after the recent year that they have had. If the Samsung Galaxy fan base hears of this before they fix it, it is not going to go well for Samsung.
How long do you think it will take Samsung to fix this RAM issue completely? Let us know in the comments below. I for one, hope that they do it fast.
