Harsh Times and Street Kings director David Ayer is working on a new film called Ten, which is being described as another gritty drama, this time following a group of DEA agents as they attempt to rob a drug cartel, but end up getting picked off one by one. It sounds very much like an Ayer film, which isn’t exactly a bad thing at this point. The guy knows how to make some violently entertaining crime films, so naturally he has my ticket.
Variety reports that Sam Worthington might be joining the cast, which already features Arnold Schwarzenegger. Worthington is simply waiting for financing to land in the right spot, before making things final.
The film is being described as an ensemble, so expect more big names to attach as the film puts itself together.
