Joel and Ethan Coen are back after taking a break from directing since 2010’s True Grit. Their latest film is Inside Lleywn Davis and it stars Oscar Issac, Carey Mulligan, John Goodman and Justin Timberlake.
It follows a small-time folk singer as he attempts to make his way up the musical ladder in a 1960s New York City.
It looks rather small and more personal for a Coen Bros. flick, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not interested. I’m actually more interested, because it looks like a drastic change of pace for them and while I love their films I love the idea of them trying something different even more.
The film now has an official release date, which is December 6th, 2013.
