Please stop reading this post unless you want to read possible major spoilers for Justin Lin‘s Fast & Furious 6 and even possibly the sequel, which we’ll call Fast 7.
What follows below could be BIG SPOILERS. So again; go away if you don’t want to know anything more.
Ain’t It Cool News is reporting that Jason Statham is in fact going to play the villain in Fast 7. At one point he was rumored to be joining Fast & Furious 6, but it looks like they’re holding onto him until Part 7.
The way he fits into the storyline is as follows:
He’ll be revealed at the end of Fast & Furious 6 and then as the film moves into Part 7 we’ll see the greater picture, which reveals Statham as the driver that gets out of a car near where Han dies back in Tokyo Drift. So without going too lengthy into the details Statham will help tie the series back to the third film, which gives us a better understanding of the time frame in which these films operate in.
Head over to the sourced site to read everything in much more detail. They’ve laid it out really well, but I’d rather only give you the gist of it in hopes of not completely ruining all of the fun.
