Lee Daniels is on a roll in the director’s chair. He followed up Precious with The Paperboy and now he’s got The Butler coming up. The film tells the story of an African American butler that served eight presidents over the span of 34 years. Forest Whitaker is playing the lead, while a massive cast list follows behind him.
Two cast members are seen above sharing a smoke and gee whiz it looks to be Oprah Winfrey and Terrence Howard. Winfrey hasn’t acted in sometime and Howard has been in a few films here and there.
I’m mostly sharing this picture because I find it absolutely hilarious seeing Winfrey out of her “element” and also because I’m looking forward to checking out Daniels’ new film, because of his constant change in tone whenever he approaches a project.
The Butler should land in theaters sometime next year.
