New Trailer For Robert Zemeckis’ ‘The Walk’

Robert Zemeckis burst back onto the live-action scene with Flight after being stuck in the CGI world for far too long.

His latest film The Walk is looking to capture the spectacle of IMAX 3D through clever camera tricks and live-action performances, being led by Joseph Gordon-Levitt with the most French accent that I’ve heard in quite some time.

JGL‘s performance hasn’t captured me just yet, but Zemeckis’ filmmaking techniques have The Walk appearing more and more like an event film than a basic adaptation of a book about a man that walked between the World Trade Center towers.

This new trailer gives us a bit more back story about the rest of the film, while finally revealing the titular walk towards the end.
