New Theatrical Trailer & Posters For ‘The Hangover Part III’

I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually looking forward to Todd Phillips’ The Hangover Part III. This third film is promoting itself as the finale epic conclusion to The Hangover trilogy, which I never really realized had that much of a following. Yeah, the first film was one of the highest grossing R-rated movies of all-time (is it still?), but I thought we all agreed that the second film absolutely sucked?

It was just a repeat of the first one, with a location and animal swap. The first wasn’t even that great to begin with, so obviously seeing it all happen (again) naturally pissed me off and made me fear a third film, but it looks like Phillips certainly listened when people ranted about the sequel.

This new film looks to be catering to both crowds, with a lot of ties to the last two films, plus a lot of comedy that might even appeal to those that never showed up for these films in the first place.

I’m remaining somewhat optimistic, because there’s been so much talk about this film’s darker roots and I’m curious to see if Phillips and company has the balls to end the film on a grim note.

The Hangover Part III stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, John Goodman and Justin Bartha.
