New International Trailer For The Adventures Of Tintin

A new international trailer has surfaced the web for the upcoming Steven Spielberg directed animated film, The Adventures of Tintin. While I will admit that this new trailer is vastly superior to the previous trailer, I still can’t say that I am fully sold on this one. Something about the animation looks odd to me, but I do think it will grow on me in time.

I’m just excited to see Steven Spielberg directing an animated film. He’s perfect for this kind of material and I think he has a strong chance of making this a solid movie. I’m also interested in this film because Joe Cornish and Edgar Wright are two of the names attached to the script!

The Adventures of Tinin is produced by Peter Jackson and it stars the voices of Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Cary Elwes and Andy Serkis.

Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) wrote the script.

It will be released in theaters on December 23rd, 2011.
