Nazi Space Film Iron Sky Gets US Distribution

It looks like the Nazi space film Iron Sky will be getting US distribution by Entertainment One. The film will be making its debut in the states this upcoming weekend at SXSW in Austin.

Director Timo Vuorensola actually started the film as an online project, asking people around the world to help finance various stages of production. That’s certainly one way to build up for-sure hype for such a weird sounding film.

I’m glad to hear that the film has been picked up in the US and I’m very curious to see how Entertainment One will go about releasing the film. Hopefully they give it a limited theatrical run, as well as a DVD release and possibly a VOD release.

Stay tuned for more information!
