Michael Fassbender is a busy actor. Right now you can see him give a fierce performance in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave, a role that is predicted to earn him an Oscar nomination. Besides pushing an Oscar campaign forward, Fassbender will be busy shooting Justin Kurzel’s adaptation of Macbeth opposite Marion Cotillard.
He is also reprising his role as the villainous Magneto in X-Men Days of Future Past, which is set to arrive in theatres next June, and now Variety reports that Fassbender has lined up yet another project. According to the report, Fassbender will star in the gangster film Trespass Against Us, a project from British television director Adam Smith (Doctor Who).
In the film, Fassbender will play Chad Cutler, a member of a family of outlaws that spans three generations who wants to get out of the criminal life. It’s also been reported that The Chemical Brothers will score the film, which is fantastic news.
Production for Trespass Against Us is expected to begin in the UK next year. Protagonist Pictures is currently pre-selling the project at the American Film Market. Make sure to check back for more updates as they come our way.
