I can’t believe that they are still making Assassin’s Creed games. The popular series has now spawned a film, which is starring Michael Fassbender as the time-traveling (?) assassin that’s trying to crack his ancestors secrets.
The first trailer presents a big batch of visuals that are both gorgeously rendered and slightly confusing to look at, but at least the action appears to be fluidly shot and presented in a way that makes sequences easy to understand.
I’m remaining hopeful for this one, mostly because I stopped playing the video game series around the release of number two and also because Fassbender apparently considers this a passion project.
What was it that attracted him to this project and will this be one of the only good video game adaptations?
Time will tell.
