Yeah, Sony has ran out of ideas and is actually planning on crossing over their Men in Black series with their highly successful and popular 21 Jump Street series.
The tricky thing is that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones won’t be coming back, but Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum might.
Also, 21/22 Jump Street directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are too busy making a Han Solo film to bother with the film, aside from a producing credit.
This makes the entire concept sound like a bust, especially noting that you’re pitting a PG-13 franchise with an R-rated franchise.
I guess when you can’t even handle Spider-Man correctly you simply must make a cinematic universe out of something else.
Thoughts on MIB 23?
