‘Mama’ Director Andy Muschietti Might Be Tackling ‘It’ For WB

I’ve honestly been caring less and less about WB’s attempted It remake ever since True Detective‘s Cary Fukunaga dropped out last minute.

His direction had my interest and now the latest rumors swirling around Mama director Andy Muschietti possibly taking on the project have me slowly drifting away from any sort of interest in the project at all.

Mama was pretty bland and Muschietti’s direction definitely wasn’t the film’s shining moment, so why care about an It remake that probably shouldn’t even exist at all?

Nothing is confirmed yet, so hold your horses, but we’ll be following this story closely.
