The Avengers is still dominating at the box office, although Men in Black 3 is set to knock it off its throne this weekend, but that hasn’t stopped Marvel from getting the word out on their various projects that are slowly coming together.
The newest piece of news comes from Variety that has informed us of the casting of Mads Mikkelsen. He is probably best known for playing the villain in Casino Royale and now he’ll be playing a villain in Thor 2, alongside Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki.
Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are confirmed to return for the sequel, with Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor taking over for Kenneth Branagh.
Thor 2 arrives in theaters on November 15th, 2013.
