Say what you want about horror films and horror movie franchises, but one simply cannot not hate on the legacy of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original film spawned its own sequels, followed by a reboot, which earned its own prequel and then a “reboot/sequel” to the original film and now finally, a prequel to the original film.
Leatherface is the title of the latest Chainsaw romp and it looks like it could be a gory good time. The film has been on the back-burner for the longest time, coming from Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (Inside).
I’ve liked more Chainsaw films than I’ve disliked, so I will optimistically approach this latest endeavor with kind regards.
