Excuse me for being late to the party, but I’ve been having one hell of a weekend. It’s always nice to return to the warm and comfy movie world with a bit of late news regarding the director of Universal’s Jurassic Park 4.
According to sources Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow will be taking on the film for Mr. Steven Spielberg.
I find this news reassuring, but also kind of random. He did a great job with making Safety Not Guaranteed a charming little indie sci-fi film, with a lot more heart than brains, but that didn’t really show is action-side of directing or if he can even handle massive CGI (most-likely) dinosaurs.
I mean, I guess I’d rather have him over Len Wiseman, because at least now we can hopefully look forward to something a little different than the norm, but of all people they went with Trevorrow?
I wish him the best of luck and look forward to seeing what he comes up with.
Nothing about the story has really been revealed yet, so stay tuned.
