WB’s announcement of a Batman vs. Superman-type team-up was probably the biggest news to come out of Comic Con. I for one didn’t think that they’d pull this card so fast, but now it looks like Zack Synder‘s Man of Steel is getting a sequel that will also feature Batman, played by someone other than Christian Bale.

We all know that Henry Cavill will return as Superman, but who will replace Bale as Batman?

Sources close indicate that they want to go for an older and more seasoned version of the caped crusader, which leaves the door wide open for possibilities.

The current rumors are leaning towards none other than Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Matthew Goode and even Joe Manganiello. Gosling is easily the youngest choice for the role, but also the most popular. I personally wouldn’t mind seeing Brolin put on the mask and suit, but I still think all of this is way too early at this point.

Who do you want to takeover the role as the iconic Batman?
