Joseph Gordon-Levitt Adds Julianne Moore To His Directorial Debut

Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be on his way to becoming everyone’s favorite quirky it man in Hollywood, making an appearance later this year in Tarantino’s Django Unchained, and in the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy The Dark Knight Rises. Here, he’s going to tackle something a bit different and step behind the camera, taking on his own project Don Jon’s Addiction. Details are nil, and not much is known about the plot at this point, only that Levitt will play a Casanova type of man who attempts to become less selfish. Yes, I want more info too.

According to The Film Stage, veteran star Julianne Moore has been added to play a mentor of sorts to his character. I make no apologies about my love for her talent as an actress and her beauty (does she ever age?), so I think he’ll be in good shape. Scarlett Johansson is also expected to star, but in what capacity is still unknown. It’s only a tid bit, but shooting is expected to commence next month, and we’ll have more details as they come!
