There are a few Steve Jobs biopics in the works, the first being the Ashton Kutcher-starring one titled jOBS. It follows the young genius as he drops out of college and goes on to become one of the most important people in the world of technology. I’m still sort of laughing over Kutcher landing the role, but he does sort of look like a younger version of Jobs.

Open Road Films closed out Sundance with the film and now have announced that they will be releasing the film theatrically on Apple’s 27th anniversary, which happens to be April 19th.

That means that it’ll be coming out very soon and that we should start seeing some promotion for it shortly.

jOBS is being described as a dialogue-driven film directed by Joshua Michael Stern.
