Guillermo Del Toro Won’t Be Directing ‘Justice League Dark’ Anymore

Guillermo del Toro is as of now off the Justice League Dark project, which he was originally scheduled to direct sometime over the next few years.

Apparently the visionary filmmaker is too busy finishing up his upcoming horror flick Crimson Peak, while also developing Pacific Rim 2 for WB.

This news broke as we learned that WB will be shuffling its Vertigo Comics properties over to its New Line sister company, while the DC characters will remain with WB.

Justice League Dark was supposed to feature the likes of Swamp Thing, Constantine and other popular characters with darker and more supernatural ties to the DC universe.

This is a sad day indeed, but del Toro has been known to sign onto and leave projects as he pleases.
