A couple months ago, DreamWorks released the first teaser trailer for their adaptation of the popular video game series Need For Speed starring Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad). The trailer was undoubtedly impressive, showcasing surprising visuals and promising adrenaline-fueled racing sequences. The studio has recently released a less impressive, full-length trailer thanks to an introduction to a seemingly dull story. Check out the trailer below.
Framed for a crime he didn’t commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey (Aaron Paul) gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man responsible for his false conviction. Tobey tears up the road in a gritty cross-country journey— one that begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption.
Need For Speed will arrive in theaters on March 14th, 2014. Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) directed the film from a script by George Nolfi (The Bourne Ultimatum). Dominic Cooper, Michael Keaton, Imogen Poots, Dakota Johnson, and Kid Cudi co-star. Are you looking forward to this?
