Flypaper Trailer

Flypaper premiered at the most recent Sundance film festival earlier this year and it walked out with some not so great things being said about it. Well yesterday IFC Films released a trailer for the upcoming robber comedy, starring Patrick Dempsey. The trailer makes the movie seem like it has an interesting concept at hand that could potentially be a blast to watch. However I’m still worried about it because of the reviews from Sundance. Some of those complaints are that it is scattered and lacking any sort of charm of pop.

I guess we’ll how this is going to be perceived when it hits Video on Demand. That’s right, IFC is releasing this to VOD before it hits theaters so we can get some reactions before seeing it on the big screen. Flypaper stars Patrick Dempsey, Ashley Judd, Tim Blake Nelson, Mekhi Phifer, and Matt Ryan. It will be getting its limited release on July 15th, 2011. Make sure you check out the trailer and the synopsis below via TheFilmStage.
