First Trailer For ‘The Forever Purge’ Promises More Bloody Chaos

Director/writer James DeMonaco‘s Purge series is continuing on, despite taking a brief hiatus after The First Purge, which I think just might be one of the film’s most under-rated entries.

Returning on July 2nd of this year, The Forever Purge is directed by Everardo Gout, with a screenplay by DeMonaco, starring Josh Lucas, Ana de la Reguera and Cassidy Freeman.

The film follows a group of people that believe the annual Purge event shouldn’t stop at daybreak and instead continue forever. The film, much like the rest of the series, is hitting with some topical social commentary that is blended with some frightening action/horror that will surely have some people leaning back in their seats.

The only Purge film that I truly didn’t care for was The Purge: Election Year. I mostly didn’t care for that one because if felt like a revisit of The Purge: Anarchy, which is the series best in my humble opinion. Otherwise, I think The Purge films are rather important in our modern day horror world.

Are you excited for The Forever Purge?
