I’ve never cared for Jodie Foster as an actress, but as a director she’s made some unique films. Her latest film, Money Monster, follows a financial talk show host (George Clooney) as he gets taken hostage by an angry fan.
The film co-stars Julia Roberts and honestly looks like a decent-to-good financial thriller that might have a few surprises up its sleeve.
I can’t say that it’s going to be all that memorable, but it does remind me of the totally underrated Phonebooth.
Thoughts?
