Stephen King‘s The Cell is one of those books that I purchased ages ago and never got around to reading past the first couple of pages. I’m not quite sure why, but I just never felt the dying urge to dive into it and see what I thought of it.
It appears as if I made a smart decision, because most have called The Cell one of his worst books ever, not to mention is comes packed with an equally awful ending or so they say.
Anyways, the film adaptation is finally here, which Paranormal Activity 2 director Tod Williams is responsible for.
The film stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, both of whom starred in the awesome adaptation of King’s underrated ghost story 1408.
The casting alone has me at the very least somewhat curious to see if the film can manage to be better than the book.
Check out the first trailer and let us know in the comments down below if you’ll be seeing the film this summer.
