Bad Moms was that R-rated summer comedy that sort of came out of nowhere and yet stuck around at the box office for a lot longer than most expected. It was also made on the cheap end, which is why a sequel was always in the cards.
Lucky for us — it’s a Christmas sequel, which means awkward holiday situations with a splash of R-rated humor.
A Bad Moms Christmas doesn’t appear to be the funniest film of the winter or anything, but the initial trailer sold me on another R-rated comedy, with some characters that I wouldn’t mind revisiting.
I did not think Bad Moms was all that amazing, but I thought it was mildly entertaining and an okay way to kill some time.
Christmas time is always in need of a little spice, so I welcome A Bad Moms Christmas with open arms and hope for the best.
