One of the many cinematic casualties of COVID-19 this year was David Gordon Green‘s sequel to his take on Halloween, titled Halloween Kills, which he co-wrote with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
That film, which stars Jamie Lee Curtis, was supposed to bow theatrically in cinemas around Halloween time, but was instead shelved until 2021 for obvious reasons.
That doesn’t mean we can’t have a sneak peak at the film, which can be viewed down below.
I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t care for David Gordon Green‘s take on the iconic Michael Myers, but I still enjoy seeing the character come back to the mainstream and to be given the proper respect he deserves.
I am still enthusiastic for this sequel and will likely revisit the first film in anticipation of its release, just to see if I can find something else to enjoy about it.
As of now, I am still firmly in the camp that appreciates Rob Zombie‘s remake the most (ignoring the sequel) and outside of that, enjoy the original and a few of its sequels.
Which Halloween is your favorite? Will you be buying a ticket to see Halloween Kills on the big screen?
