More and more foreign directors are making their splashes in American cinema. Safe House marked Daniel Espinosa‘s debut English language film and the upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger film The Last Stand will be Kim Jee-Woon‘s American debut, so it’s only fitting for Oldboy director Park Chan-wook to join the club.
His first Hollywood feature is called Stoker and it stars a deranged Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode and Mia Wasikowska. This eerie first clip (provided by The Film Stage) lets us take a look at the pale visuals and uncomfortable build ups.
Fox Searchlight will be bringing Stoker to theaters in 2013.
