Director Sam Mendes has provided some Peter Jackson-like access to the set of his most recent film, the newst (and last) Bond film for star Daniel Craig. It’s only a quick peek at some footage, but it’s a good indication of what is to come as the film progresses in production.
Meanwhile, Ralph Fiennes sat down with Daily Record to discuss his role in the new film, and while he wasn’t all details, he did mention that he can officially tell everyone he is playing a “government agent”, which takes some of the mystery out of his casting in the film.
MovieWeb is further reporting that his character will never get a name, as he is primed to be the next M, with Skyfall widely reported as her last Bond film as the popular character.
“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”
Skyfall will open November 9th, 2012 here in the US. In the meantime, see the footage for yourself:
