Guillermo del Toro has always been known to be quite the visionary. His direction is often atmospheric and dense when dealing with suspense and thrills or super imaginative and fun when dealing with bigger budgets.
His entry in the Blade series is by far the best, while both his Hellboy films were creative pieces of work.
I also really dug Pacific Rim and who can forget about Pan’s Labyrinth?
Now, he’s returning to the horror genre with a slice of Gothic horror meets haunted house aka Crimson Peak.
Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam and Mia Waskiowska star in del Toro’s latest spook-fest, which hits theaters appropriately in October.
Check out the first trailer, which gives off all sorts of creepy vibes and weird visuals, while also keeping the true story confusing enough to promise us some twists and turns.
