First ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Trailer Has Landed

Marvel has definitely took their game to a whole new level with the first trailer for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.

For the first time ever, Earth’s mightiest heroes are going to be colliding in a battle of friendships as Captain America and Iron Man divide and form their own teams in what is sure to be one of Marvel’s biggest films yet.

The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo return for Civil War, which stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie and basically the entire cast of The Avengers, plus a few stragglers from other MCU films.

The film drops early next year, which gives us more than plenty of time to discuss what the future holds for Marvel films.

I love that the trailer keeps the focus on Capt., despite such a large roster. I’ve never been the biggest fan of the character, but I’ll continue to give him a shot in his solo films.

The First Avenger still remains one of my all-time least favorite Marvel films, while The Winter Soldier featured great action, but a so-so story that mostly crumbled.

Here’s to hoping that Civil War finally delivers!
