Seriously, Marvel? That’s all you’ve got?
Joss Whedon‘s highly-anticipated sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron has everybody and their mother getting ready for what’s most-likely going to be yet another middle-of-the-road and mostly over-rated piece of comic book movie.
See, I liked The Avengers, unlike most, who swore by it as the end-all comic book movie. Sure, the film was good, but it wasn’t great. In fact, it was far from it. And now we have our first official look at Whedon’s follow-up, which still looks like an overpriced TV show in terms of production quality.
Seriously, why does everything look so staged and clean? The special effects are top notch, but the film itself looks like it suffers from some of the same visual flaws that the first one did and that’s not even getting me started on what looks like a straight-up repeat of the first film.
I hope we get a better look at Ultron soon, because this trailer hits too many of the same exact beats as the first film.
