Yes, it’s finally here, and while we heard it would be in front of The Avengers on Friday, it has popped up already, so grab your looks.
Lots of new footage, and some epic soundless shots that are really there to drive home the point that this will be the last of the new trilogy, and Christian Bale doesn’t necessarily have to make it out alive. While they said there was nothing wrong with Bane‘s (Tom Hardy) voice, it’s obvious to at least me that they’ve tweaked it, and if they haven’t, then the first trailer was the two worst possible moments of that voice. Either way, glad he makes more sense now.
Everything else is what I expect this movie to be, big and ridiculous, it has to not only top The Dark Knight, but it has to wrap up the trilogy, while balancing a new character, Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) along with a new villain in Bane. Joseph Gordon Levitt is also heavily featured in the trailer, and we get a few new looks at the Batcopter or whatever the hell that thing is. Since this is only the trailer, who knows what else Christopher Nolan has up his sleeve, but I’m sure it’s going to be big.
