Fifty Shades of Grey has been swooping over our nation for some time now, quickly beating out Twilight for workplace conversation. I’m not sure why anyone would want to read it, except for those steamy and uncomfortable passages that will unfortunately be making their way to the big screen.
Universal and Focus Features are advancing the project just one more step, with the hiring of an official screenwriter to adapt E.L. James‘ personal notebook, uh I mean novel.
Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks) will be adapting the novel to film form and I can’t think of one job I’d want the least in the world aside from hers.
I’m sure director and actor talk is surely to follow, so to keep things discussion-based I’d like to ask you who you’d like to helm the project. Also, who should play the leads?
