Edgar Wright’s ‘Last Night In Soho’ Gets A First-Look Teaser Trailer

Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz writer/director Edgar Wright is returning to the big-screen this October with his latest thriller, Last Night in Soho. The film co-stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Jessie Mei Li and Matt Smith, with a screenplay by Krysty Wilson-Cairns.

The teaser trailer dropped a few days ago and I am just now getting around to sharing it, but I note that you shouldn’t let my tardiness distract from the fact that this film looks like top-notch Edgar Wright, blending horror and paranoia with some lush visuals and a trippy time-travel plot that involves a fashion designer somehow getting transported to the 1960s, where she encounters her most-beloved idol in a London setting.

Wright is no stranger when it comes to blending genres. Generally, he blends comedy into the mix, but this one looks like an old-fashioned creep show and I must say, I am convinced that we are in for a treat.

Are you ready for some more Edgar Wright?
