Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming southern film Django Unchained opens on Christmas Day. Many of us are counting down the days until we get to see Tarantino’s work that features Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz.
The Film Stage reports that the film has officially screened in front of an audience and an early reaction mentions the quality of the film, plus the running time:
A 3 hour long Tarantino film feels like a dream come true, with most of his films clocking in around 2 and a half hours. Tarantino still has some time to trim some fat before the release, so don’t get your hopes too high, because the director has been known for tinkering with his films right up until the deadline.
Still, it’s reassuring to know that early reactions are good and that the long running time isn’t a downer.
Are you looking forward to the film?
