*UPDATE* Cloud Atlas was originally scheduled to be released on Blu-ray home video on February 5th, 2013. It now appears to be delayed until early summer, so that the film can reach a wider audience theatrically overseas. Therefor this contest will remain open until the day the film is officially released on Blu-ray in the US.
One of the best films of 2012 without a doubt is The Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer‘s Cloud Atlas. I’ve purposely went out of my way to chat about the film whenever possible, like recently when it screened in Minnesota for another week. I just love the film so much and I feel the need to spread it around to as many people possible.
The filmmakers involved have created a timeless masterpiece that has its rough edges and minor flaws, but mostly works around them and goes on to become something that I’ve never seen before. Recently, the Academy voted on the Oscar picks for the year and Cloud Atlas was wrongfully snubbed from so many deserving categories. It’s upsetting, but also a part of life and something we’ve learned to accept from the Academy. They tend to rob the good films and give to the not-so-good ones.
Cloud Atlas is nearing its Blu-ray/DVD/home video release, which means we here at The Daily Rotation want to give you a copy absolutely FREE. That’s right; you can take home a copy of this marvelous film at no cost. We have up for grabs one copy of the film on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. That means that if you’re behind on times and haven’t upgraded to high-def you can still view the regular DVD in your DVD player, but if you’ve got a Blu-ray player under your roof you can pop that disc in. There’s also a digital copy code included, which means you can access it via cloud storage.
There’s really no reason not to want to own this fantastic film for the price of FREE. Wondering how you can get your hands on it? Simply do these three things:
1. Like us on Facebook.
2. Follow us on Twitter.
3. Send me an email (Jeremy@TheDailyRotation.com) with your full name (and your FB/Twitter handle) and mailing address, so that I can send it to you if you happen to win. Title the email something like CLOUD ATLAS CONTEST.

This contest is open to US residents only and it will close on the release date of the Blu-ray, which is May 14th, 2013.
